Abby grew up in Massachusetts, and graduated from Lesley University in 2020, where she studied Psychology and Fine Arts. After graduating in the midst of the pandemic, Abby missed the community of a studio, and joined as a member at the Pottery Mill in December 2020.

After dedicating 3 years to working with clay, she became a staff member at the studio as a pottery instructor and studio illustrator. She teaches 7 Week Classes as well as One Time Workshops. As the studio illustrator, she creates the designs for Flexibats and paints murals for the studio space. 

Abby creates and sells under the name Vervain Artworks online and at in-person markets. She creates functional pieces decorated with her sgraffito designs.

When Abby is not at the studio, she usually is cooking, printmaking or spending time with her husband.
