Use of heat guns: if you ever use the shop heat gun when your hand is even slightly soiled with clay, the clay tends to transfer to the handle, and to the on/off switch. After a few uses, the clay gets into the switch, clogging it so it will become stuck.
It is easy to avoid this problem: just wrap a dry paper towel or cloth or scrap of newspaper on the handle before you touch it with your hand. This will prolong the life of the heat guns considerably.
Note also that you should not ever press the power switch with a wet hand, as it is an electrical hazard. Always use a dry cloth or paper towel on it. Thanks, and happy drying. . .
