Hi All! This was definitely asked already but I can’t find the post.

Where should I buy good pottery tools and the bats to put on the wheel? I’m relatively new to my pottery membership so I’m still learning all the tricks. I bought wooden tools from Amazon but noticed some of them have mold on them already, so i’m wondering is it better to get plastic or rubber tools? I’m also looking for the small bats and bat pins to put on the wheel to help with transferring pieces. If anyone has any places they love to buy from, let me know! Ty:))

If your tools are getting very moldy quickly, it's probably a matter of making sure there's no water on them or as little as possible when you store them.

I bought my bat pins from the studio for a couple of dollars, but I strongly prefer plastic bats which isn't super common at the studio I've noticed, but I use plastibats for all my work I do on a bat
