SEVEN WEek CLASSES
Our classes run as a seven-session course and will take place once a week every week.
Pottery Wheel Classes
Classes cover basic wheel-throwing. We offer dedicated instruction to first-time learners, as well as options for advanced throwers. Classes are limited in space to maximize personal attention. We cover the basics such as making mugs and bowls, learning to glaze and use the equipment.
For our intermediate throwers we can help you refine your technique, throw large, or work on other goals you might have. Studio time is limited to class hours, but other options are available with unlimited studio time.

HAND-building classes
Classes cover basic hand-building techniques such as using coils and slabs to create pieces. This class is slow paced and there is more control in hand-building compared to throwing on the wheel. Classes are limited in space to maximize personal attention. Studio time is limited to class hours, but other options are available with unlimited studio time.
5 week
hand-building and surface design class
This five week class deep dives into the world of surface decorating. We will cover basic texture and surface decoration techniques through various hand building projects. This class is appropriate for anyone who is looking to begin their pottery journey AND if you have been working with clay for a while and have been looking to enhance your personal style with new techniques. This is a great opportunity to play with a variety of materials and supplies before investing in what you need for your own work.

Classes are appropriate for beginners through advanced potters. This class includes: group instruction, a 25 lb bag of clay, access to equipment, tools, glazes, storage, and firings. All firing and finishing costs are included in the price.

Due to limited availability, we DO NOT accommodate makeup classes, however, we do offer independent studio time outside of class to makeup class time hours if needed.

Classes restart bi-monthly; we open registration at least one month in advance. Spaces do fill fast! We suggest filling out our waitlist form to be notified of upcoming classes and spots that become open.
