Hi guys!
Please take the time to read this and like the post so I can know that we’ve all read it!
Over the last couple of months I’ve been finding a lot of bisque ware in our recycling, which means someone must be putting it in there by accident. This is an issue because clay that has been bisque fired and broken up is incredibly sharp and I’ve cut myself more than once in the past. This cannot continue to happen for the safety of our staff!
Anything that has been fired is considered bisque and cannot be recycled. Once bisqued it must be thrown away!
if you're unsure run it under water to see if it starts to dissolve. Or double check with someone else! Please be aware of what stage your clay is at before you recycle it!
