Studio Announcements

Greetings potters. Has anyone had success using dipping glaze to brush on their pieces? I brushed on the obsidian dipping glaze and the black came out pretty blah and flat as a base when layering with other brush-ons...perhaps due to not enough coats? I'm hoping that adding more layers next time will solve the problem. Or just not use dipping glazing as a brush-on entirely? I think the real answer lies in the viscosity and zero gravity between the two but just looking for y'all's success using this method. Thanks!!
