I wind up finding a lot of my supplies on The Ceramic Shop. They’ve got a good variety and their website is easy to find things on. I’ve also tried Seattle pottery supply.
personally I think it’s good to start with a few basics like wooden tools, trimming tools, some elephant ear sponges, and a wire tool. Then build from there as you find a need for things and/or take inspo from studio mates.
