I am trying to sculpt something wide/flat for the upcoming raku class. Does anyone know how wide the inside of that kiln is? I don't want to overshoot

The inside of the kiln is roughly a 17” diameter octagon. The shelves are 13” in diameter and one layer needs space for the 2" posts
