I'm wondering if anyone has had success combing commercial glazes with studio glazes for some nice flowing combination (and would be willing to share)? I've started down the slippery slope of buying a few commercial glazes but it's a pretty expensive habit for a newbie. I'm hoping to find some combos that use commercial glazes to compliment the studio glazes. Thanks in advance.
I’m not really familiar with any combos but you could try making your own test tiles! Just start with 1-2 commercial glazes so it’s not too overwhelming and go from there. Just know commercial glazes are formulated for brushing and our glazes are for dipping. Following that will be vital for the best results :)
