Art Book Club
Hello Pottery Mill members,
A few members recently started a book club. We plan to read books on art history, artists, the art market, etc.
Our first book is Ninth Street Women by Mary Gabriel. The book focuses on the birth of Abstract Expressionism . In particular the women who successfully worked alongside the most impactful artists during this time in American history.
It is a tome! So we are reading part 1 first and meeting February 14th at 2pm to discuss. The meeting location is near the studio. Please let us know if you are interested in joining the discussion (No pressure to read the entire book).
