Service Description

PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING TICKET Classes cover basic wheel-throwing and decorative techniques, and are appropriate for ages 13 and up.  Classes are suited for beginner, intermediate and advanced throwers; allowing intermediate and advanced students the opportunity to pursue their interests with guidance if needed. Classes sizes are limited to ensure each student gets ample instruction. Classes include everything you need to start making pottery: group instruction, a 25 lb bag of stoneware clay, tools, glazes, storage, and firings. All firing and finishing costs are included in price. Each course is 7 sessions (unless holidays are noted), taking place ONCE a week, studio time is limited to class hours only to ensure instructor supervision. There will be no official makeup classes for inclement weather; we will send out an email for cancellations. **The Wednesday night wheel class will be kid friendly so please feel free to join as an adult but know that there may be high energy kids too. Please be prepared to provide proof of age 13+** **THE THURSDAY NIGHT ADVANCED CLASS IS INTENDED FOR MORE EXPERIENCED POTTERS WHO SHOULD BE ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY do the following: Center 2+ pounds of clay on the pottery wheel independently Wedge clay, trim leather hard work, and fully glaze bisque ware on your own.
