Hi everyone! I’m a little new to the studio and just got my first glazed pieces done. Is the temmoku gold glaze supposed to be matte/rough? I dipped the mug in Temmoku for 3 seconds and layered Toasted over it. The result was a rough and matte interior that I don’t think is food safe? The same thing happened with the Matcha and White Birch layer on a bowl, the clay body came through and was very rough. Anyone have experience with this? 😅
