Are finished clay pieces oven safe?
At my last studio, we were told that our stuff was not oven safe. I would like to make a pie dish and just want to make sure before I waste my time!

You can! You should put your pie dish in the oven as your oven is preheating to avoid thermal shocking it, and also leave it in the oven while cooling. It will probably break eventually if you use it a ton as well.
