PLEASE LIKE THIS POST SO WE KNOW WHO HAS READ IT. We just need to share that we have added some new information to the studio paperwork. You aren’t required to go back and sign everything again but please like this post once you’ve read the details.

It’s come to our attention as the studio and memberships have grown that we need to remind everyone to be socially aware of the space we take up and folks working around us. Please keep in mind that when the studio is busy you need to consolidate your space, keep your conversations appropriate, keep your music polite, and clean up after yourself including wiping down wheels and tables after each use.
Taking up multiple wheels or tables by leaving tools, pottery, or clay spread out; or leaving drying glazed pots spread out over the glaze room tables for example, aren’t friendly ways to use our community space. Thank you all for helping us keep the studio a clean and welcoming space for all of our members and students.

Also just a bit of added info to our clay policy:
“If a member is leaving the studio and wished to gift or donate their remaining clay to another member, they must check with the studio first. The weight of the clay will need to be added to the recipient's account to ensure the appropriate volume of clay is recorded in the system. Failure to do so may result in issues with clay audits in the future and will be discussed in detail with the recipient of the clay.”

Also, please be considerate of what activities are going on around you. I can’t count the number of times someone has slammed down a chunk of clay and started wedging it while I was doing detail work at the same table. Thanks!
