Thanks to everyone who has shown interest for the Handbuilding project over Zoom! Looks like we’ll working together this Thursday evening around 6:30-8 if that works for everyone. We’ll be making some clay boxes, sounds like most of you wanted to do a type of box! I’d suggest rolling out a couple slabs around 10x12” about 30-45 minutes before class, depending on the size of box and how many you’d like to make. I’ll be using a wire tool, rolling pin, pin tool, & metal knife (check out the pottery mill Instagram to see how to make basic tools if you don‘t have any currently). Make sure you have a good place to work; wood table, canvas, scrap drywall, etc. We’ll be posting the group code tomorrow (Wednesday) before class begins (Thursday) Let me know if you have any questions!
